Holding the strap to her bag tightly, Charlotte moved through the parking lot of the school. Her hazel gaze flickering around to the groups of people that were hanging around talking before classes started. She had a tendency to get to school early, just so she could talk to some of her friends and not have to worry about rushing to class or anything like that. She liked to take her time, she didn’t want to have to rush. Ducking her head, she waved to a few familiar faces and continued up the steps to the main hallway.
The main hallway was pretty much where everyone hung out before an in between classes. All of the classrooms came off of that hallway so it was usually jammed pack with bodies. Today was no different, her gaze moved around, smiling at a few people as she weaved through the crowd. She stopped to talk to a few people that she knew before continuing her way through the crowded hallway. Her gaze caught on something that made her heart jump out of her chest. Swallowing hard, she instantly felt her cheeks become hot and she ducked her head to try and hide it.
Jasper Moretti. She didn’t know what it was about him, but she always seemed to turn in to a melted puddle of person anytime her gaze even barely caught his. She had never really had that issue before, but there was something about the blonde that made her insides go all haywire. She couldn’t really understand it, but that was the main reason she always tried to stray away. She knew that she’d just be a blubbering fool in front of him and how uncool would that be? Completely. She was a fairly well-liked girl and she had boyfriends before, but nothing serious. She wouldn’t deny that she happened to have a huge crush on Jasper, but who didn’t? He was like the picture of perfection. Sighing, she continued to push past people, trying to make it out of the hallway unnoticed.

Jumping out of the black pick up truck, Jasper slammed the door shut. He could have been sleeping, as he has study first so he didn't have to come in, but nope. his sister needed him to drive her to school, and his mom wouldn't do it. Jasper was utterly lazy, and he knew that, but that did not change that he was rather pissed off that he had to get up, and get ready for school and not sleep in, even if it was only going to be an hour or so extra sleep. but sleep was sleep, and it was something that Jasper didn't get. Running his pale fingers through his messy blonde hair, he shot his twin sister a look, of utter hatred. He didn't actually hate her, but Jasper was so high last night, and he didn't go to bed till four am, so he was hoping for more then two hours of sleep, but as you can see, that didn't actually happen.
No one knew that they boy did drugs, no one knew anything. No one knew that Jasper really didn't find anything good with any of the girls that he knew in school. He didn't like any of the girls that he hung around with; but, he still hung around with them, partied with them, and slept with them on a fairly regular basis. He was popular, he was a guitarist. He was what most girls fell for. And he knew that a lot of the girls in the school did like him. But, he never actually found one that was good enough for him. he was actually pretty lonely. Sure, he had all the friends that he needed, all the drugs and alcohol that he wanted was served to him on a silver plater from his friends. But, he didn't have that one girl, that all of his friends had, to call his. Nope. He had a twin sister, who was really just a complete weirdo, her friends were weird, but then again, he only ever talked to Dee. She was a nice girl, yes. But, she was way to religious. Not his thing in the least sense.
Walking into school, his mind was somewhere else, his blue eyes were slightly red, and he was just saying allergies. The teachers would just nod their heads, as it was the beginning of the really bad allergy season anyway. So, he was in the clear, right? It wasn't like he smelled like weed at the moment anyway. He made sure of that. Walking through the crowd, he really just wanted to crawl into a locker and fall asleep til someone came looking for him. None of his friend were here yet, they all had study, like he did. Jasper wasn't paying attention to anyone around him, he didn't notice all the people walking around him, the slutty girls that were walking around him, the people he sort of talked to every once in a while saying hello, or even someone warning him he was about to walk into someone. He snapped out of his daze a bit to late, and he noticed he actually had knocked over the girl. The blonde haired boy felt really bad about knocking girl, who was smaller then him, over.
"I'm sorry. I wasn't paying attention..I'm so sorry um...." he said, trailing off. He would have said her name, but he didn't know her name. But he knew he had some class with her, whatever class that it was, he wasn't sure. But he had a class with her. And it was Early June, and he didn't know her name. Smooth Jasper; real smooth.

Charlotte tended to be one of those people that faded in to the background. She never really thought of herself as anything special, why would she? She was just an average girl, leading a less than average life. There was nothing interesting about her, sure she had her friends and such, but there was nothing that was keeping her on her toes. Every day was the same song and dance and no matter how much she sort of liked the quietness of her life, she couldn’t help but wish for something more. A little adventure, a little danger maybe… who knew what she was really looking for; just something else. It was times like these that she wished she could just live someone else life for a little while. Unfortunately, life didn’t work like that and she was stuck in the same old every day routine that she always had.
Sighing, she brushed her brown hair from her face. Her hazel eyes bouncing around the different people in the hallway as she weaved in and out of the bodies. Her gaze was mostly focused on the ground as she kept a low profile that was until someone ran smack dab in to her. She was almost knocked completely off her feet. Stumbling a little bit, she tried to regain her composure. Biting down on her bottom lip, she look up at the familiar voice, a dear-in-the-headlights look on her face. Oh god, act cool Charlie… don’t say anything stupid… She told herself as she looked up in to the handsome face of Jasper Moretti. Of all the people to run in to her, why did it have to be the one person that somehow made her feel like she had no control over herself – and she barely even knew him.
The fact that he trailed off not knowing her name, was proof of that enough. Sure, they had two classes together, but that didn’t mean that he knew who she was… or that he even attended those classes on a regular basis. Blindly, she pushed her hair behind her ear and shook her head slightly, Charlotte… and it’s fine, don’t worry about it, Jasper. She stated casually trying to brush it off like it was nothing. Of course, the fluttering in her stomach and the red that was starting to spread of her cheeks, probably didn’t help the whole ‘playing it cool’ part of what she was going for. Oh well, you win some you lose some, eh Charls? She rolled her eyes at herself and adjusted her books and everything. She went to continue to walk or move around him, but the crowd in the hall seemed to thicken and it was like she was stuck in her spot and it only served to make her feel more embarrassed than she was.

Jasper was a popular kid, got everything he ever really wanted handed to him on a silver plater, figuratively speaking that was. Jasper had other kids do his homework, and he didn't exactly have great grades. He was sort of a C+ average kind of guy, and that was fine with him. Sure, his GPA was not very good, but that was fine with him. He didn't really want to go to college anyway. He could just become a drug dealer, and get all the money he wanted that way. Grow some marijuana plants or something. Honestly he could make a shit load of money on that. It wasn't like there was actually anyone in his family that he really had to take care of. he didn't have a family, well he did, but they just gave him everything on a silver plater, quite literally. To hem, jasper was perfect. he always had a girlfriend, even if it was a different girl every time they saw a girl over.
Right now, he just looked like a complete idiot for walking into Charlotte. Sure, he was slightly a mess, but he didn't actually mean to walk into her. Alright, so he felt more like a moron for not knowing the girl's name, or why he hadn't actually noticed her before. She was actually a very pretty girl. Why had he not noticed her before... Why hadn't he slept with her? She was truly very pretty, and he actually wanted to sleep with her. Sure, he had a girlfriend at the moment, but he knew damn well that it really wasn't going to last very long. His girlfriend was a slut, a hoe, but he was only in it for the sex. Sure, it was a selfish move, but whatever.
Jasper smiled warmly at her. "Right. Sorry. Its to early for me to think of names at moment, sorry Charlotte. I had to drive Jaz here, even though i have a free period.." he said, more rambling on to himself then actually to her. He watched her try to leave, then fail as there was way to many people in the hallway. He smiled at her and looked at her. "Stuck are we?'' he asked, he grabbed her hand and pulled her out of the middle of the hall, over to the lockers, it gave them both a little more room, though now they were stuck here, but they weren't in anyone's way. "That's better. Anyway, why haven't we talked? You're truly, a very pretty girl.'' he said to her, leaning on the locker next to him, smiling a warm smile, with is white teeth showing ever so slightly at her.

As much as she may have liked him and was pretty much dying on the inside at the idea of being this close to him… Charlie wasn’t completely naïve. She knew what kind of guy Jasper was, she knew that he liked to bounce from one girl to the other and that he usually was looking for one thing and one thing only. She wasn’t that type of girl, and even if she did have a huge crush on him, she didn’t think she’d be succumbing to his charms in that fashion anytime soon. Charlotte wasn’t the kind of girl that slept around, hell she was still a virgin. She wasn’t one of those girls that was ‘saving’ herself, but she was just waiting for the right time and so far… that time hadn’t come. She didn’t want to be one of Jasper’s conquests. Her dream was a little farfetched and she knew that nothing would ever come of it, but you couldn’t stop a girl from dreaming, right?
Of course, that didn’t stop her from being a little ‘awe’ struck when he ran in to her. She didn’t talk to him very often and if she did it was usually so he could borrow a pen or paper in class, because he had been too cool to bring either to class. Shaking her head a bit at the thought, she pressed her lips together and shook her head a bit as he apologized for not remembering her name. She waved it off with her hand, It’s fine… don’t worry about it. Sure, if she was an aggressive person she would have snapped and told him that he never even asked her name before, but she was passive aggressive and just kind of went with the flow. Charlie wasn’t the kind of girl that like confrontation, though she couldn’t help the little voice inside of her that sometimes screamed for her to be more assertive, even when she knew she couldn’t be. Missing out on that extra sleep, huh? She gave him a small smile, and looked around, looking for some sort of out. She needed to find a way out of this situation before it got worse.
She hated being stuck and that was exactly what she was right now. Pressing her lips together, her hazel gaze shot up to meet his blue one as he smiled at her and spoke up. She gave a slightly forced smile and nodded her head. A shock ran through her body when he grabbed her hand; her insides started to twist and she could feel her heart beat picking up and beating a million beats a minute. It was unnatural and it was making her really uneasy. Once they were off to the side by the lockers, she swallowed and released her hand from his, brushing her hair from her face. We don’t exactly run in the same circle of friends… Charlotte shrugged her shoulders and bit down on her bottom lip. Biting down on her bottom lip, she shook her head. I should… I should get going… to class. The brunette gripped the strap of her messenger bag, knowing fully well they had a good ten to fifteen minutes before classes even started. She just didn’t want to be drawn in to his web, she wasn’t sure if she would have the gall to make it out or not.

Just from the way that Charlotte was acting, Jasper felt like maybe she didn't want to be around him. Which to him was kind of insulting. I mean, who wouldn't an to he around him. he was popular, hot, and he could get anything that he wanted. He was perfect. Pretty much perfect. Why wouldn't you want him? But the girl didn't seem to want anything to do with him, which he didn't seem to like very much. It was different when a girl really didn't want anything to do with him. He didn't particularly like it. He liked it when girls wanted him, and he didn't particularly like it that Charlotte didn't seem interested him in the least bit.
To Jasper, this just didn't look really good for him. She wasn't going to talk to him very much, actually she seemed to be avoiding him. How rude. Well, he shouldn't talk. He really didn't have any room to talk, he was a rude asshole to some girls. but that's just because who Jasper was. He could be a real douche bag if he wanted to be, but he didn't really want to be one right now. Running his fingers through his messy blonde hair, he nodded to her, biting his lip slightly. "You could say that.." he said, cutting himself off before he said that he just smoked weed all night long until four in the morning when he went to sleep. honestly, the boy was an idiot at times, and last night was defiantly one of them.
Alright, so clearly she didn't want to be around him, she seemed to pull her hand away from him rather quickly. However, if she was trying to turn Jasper away from her, well, it wasn't working. So he used a lot of girls, that didn't mean he couldn't be a nice guy. "maybe we can change that? I mean, i know a lot of people that would probably like you.'' he said, smiling at her. he was just trying to be nice. Sure, if he really wanted to, he could try to get in her pants, but he didn't really want to. He was quite content with this at the moment. Rolling his dark blue eyes, he sighed. "We have at least ten minutes. Clearly you don't want to be around me.'' he said, looking down at his feet. Did he smell like weed still? He was sure that he had made sure he didn't smell like weed anymore. At least, that's what he thought. Jasmine never said anything about him smelling like weed or anything..

Charlie wasn’t the kind of girl that as rude, or that liked judge people based on what she heard. But, she was pretty sure most of what she heard about Jasper Moretti was true. She watched him, not in a stalkerish sort of way, more like an admiring way and she could tell that he was in it for the hit and run –at least most of the time. She had seen him with the same girl, but it wasn’t usually any longer than a week fling. She didn’t want that for herself – hell she wasn’t really looking for any sort of relationship. She was comfortable where she was in her life and she didn’t need anything to cause a rift in her life.
Though, maybe she could give him the benefit of the doubt, right? She didn’t really know him, so maybe she should give it a shot? She was torn really, she wanted to be the girl that she really was. A part of her wanted to take this opportunity and run with it, but the other part of her told her that she was just setting herself up for something bad. Sighing, she wasn’t really sure what to do. Maybe she would stick around and see what happened, or maybe she’d live him standing there with his mouth wide open. Who in their right mind walked away from Jasper Moretti? Did she have the guts to just walk away from him? She didn’t think she did, so she might just fall in to his trap. Maybe that’s what she really wanted, but she didn’t want to admit. Did she want to be used just like those other girls? No, of course not. She was better than that, wasn’t she?
Her gaze shifted up to meet his when he said that he knew people that would probably like her. She laughed a little bit and shook her head, I don’t think I know anyone in your circle of friends that’d be interested in talking to me. She brushed her auburn hair from her face, chewing on her bottom lip. She wasn’t trying to be cold, just honest. Charlie had tried a few times to get to know some of the people that were in Jasper’s circle, but it just never came to anything. She wasn’t really ‘cool’ enough to be in that clique and she was alright with that, for the most part anyway. Looking around, she noticed the hallway crowd thickening and she didn’t think she’d be getting away any time soon. Taking a deep breath, her gaze flickered back to meet his, Sorry, I just… I’m not used to someone like you talking to someone like me. Just odd.. She played with a fringe of her hair, her heart pounding deep inside of her chest. She felt like the side of her that wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt was starting to win over. What could it hurt to stand here and chat with him for a few, right?
