i'm the first to fall and the last to knowWHERE'D YOU GO? NOW I'M HEELS OVER HEAD. It hadn't been too long that Kaycee had gotten another few joints from her drug dealer, she didn't talk about it much, her dealer, but she sure talked about her drugs quite often. She wasn't a huge crackhead, don't get her wrong. But the girl did enjoy quite a few joints. If anything, she was more of a stoner. She just liked the feeling of being high, the feeling that she was invincible, an out of body experience really. She loved being that way, and quite honestly, she didn't give a shit what other people thought about that. Kaycee never did. If someone wanted to judge her for the things she had been through and they had no idea about, they could. It wasn't her decision and she wasn't about to change for anyone. If anything, Kaycee was independent and she would never try and bend and shape her personality for someone else. It just wasn't about to happen.
However, the girl was now seated on her comfortable couch, her lighter in hand and a joint placed between her lips. Anticipation sat deep in the pit of her stomach, a feeling she normally got before lighting up a joint. Quickly she brought the lighter to the end of her joint and it lit up quickly, a smile was full on her lips now. Kaycee was a happy girl when she was high, and very giggly, but it wasn't like anyone was going to see her this time, she was alone, and it was probably best. Sometimes, if Kaycee wasn't careful she would end up going home with someone that she didn't know or getting involved with something that she definitely shouldn't. Needless to say, Kaycee was a little careless when she shouldn't be, but in her mind, it was a chance to learn from her mistakes. And that was exactly what she would do.
Sighing contently she continued to take small drags until finally deciding to get up. There was more to this night, and she would make sure of it. She wanted to have fun! And that she would. With that set in her mind she stumbled off the couch, her feet slightly tangled in the blanket underneath her, finally getting to the kitchen and searching her refrigerator. A smirk grazed her lips as she saw what she was looking for, a nice full bottle of vodka. It was just what she needed to make this night even better for her. Grabbing the bottle by its neck she jerked it out of the refrigerator and opened it quickly, tilting her head back and putting the rim to her lips. With a satisfied groan she slammed it back on the counter, causing the liquid to slosh around haphazardly. Kaycee wasn't going to be the same tonight, and she felt bad for anyone who came to her door and saw her like this.
Which was funny to her, because right as the thought had passed through her mind she heard a knock at the door. Kayce wasted no time in grabbing the bottle by the neck again and going to answer the door, a smirk on her lips as she looked down at her outfit, it wasn't anything special, just relaxation clothes. A small tank top and a pair of short shorts, nothing to gawk over really. Opening the door, the girl brought the bottle to her lips again before she even looked at the person standing at the door. The smirk on her face grew even wider seeing Cassius standing there. mmm. come in.

Cass was bored as fuck. He didn’t feel like going out and he didn’t want to stick around his place any longer. His sister was driving him up the fucking wall, just her very presence made him want to beat the shit out of her. His mother was home as well, so this was a place he did not want to be right now. Cassius had to get the fuck out of this house before he did something he was going to regret. His sister and his mother probably didn’t think he regretted much of what he did, but Cass wasn’t heartless. They frustrated him, they pushed his buttons the wrong way and he just couldn’t deal with it. The only way he knew how to deal with it was to hit something – at least when he wasn’t taking his medication.
Grumbling under his breath, he pressed his fingers to his temple and rubbed them. Leaning over he grabbed his keys and headed out of the door. He heard his mother ask where he was going and he didn’t so much as give her a second look as he headed out to his truck. Climbing in to the cab, he started his truck up and headed over to the only place where he knew he wouldn’t absolutely lose his fucking mind. Pulling out of the driveway, he headed over to Kaycee’s house. Kaycee was someone that had seen a rare side of Cassius, one that he didn’t show too often. She was one of the only people he truly felt comfortable around. She was lucky, Cass thought, or maybe it was the other way around. Shrugging the thought away, he continued the drive over to her house.knocked on the
Arriving at her place; he parked his truck and headed up to the front door. Straightening out his black t-shirt and jeans, he knocked on the door and waited impatiently for Kaycee to answer the door. Tapping his fingers against his leg, he looked up when the door opened. His dark gaze slowly moved over Kaycee’s form and landed on the handle in her hand. Smirking he leaned forward, close to her face and snatched the bottle from her hand. Smirking, he brought the bottle to his lips and took a long swig. Hey Kayce… He waltzed into her place and didn’t bother to wait for her to invite him in. Kaycee knew what was up and he didn’t have to explain shit to her, and vice versa. Taking a deep breath a grin spread over his face, Mmm, I smell some good shit going on in here. He licked his lips and headed in to the living room, looking back at her and winking.

i'm the first to fall and the last to knowWHERE'D YOU GO? NOW I'M HEELS OVER HEAD. The minute she saw his face the girl couldn't help but smirk. Cassius... well he was definitely one of a kind. She never really understood the type of relationship they had, but she guessed it was one of understanding. She understood him, or at least a lot of him. She understood his moods and she understood the way he acted sometimes, but just because she understood it didn't mean she put up with it, and she was pretty sure that was why he liked being around her, because she told him how it was no matter what kind of mood he was in, and she would never hold her comments just because he was in a bad mood. According to Kaycee, things weren't always going to go the way you wanted them to, so you might as well learn to hate life, or just deal with it. That was the way she lived, and look at her now.
No, it was nothing to brag about, but she got by just fine the way she saw it, and she wasn't about to change, although she let everyone know that as many times as she was able. Kaycee was her own person, no one and nothing could change the way she was. Kaycee should have expected it as soon as she had opened the door to see him, but of course she hadn't, so the pout on her face as he took the bottle from her was definitely recognizable, and with a huff she slammed the door shut behind her. we are sharing by the way, you can't take my liquor asshole. she said, the smirk on her lips never leaving. of course you smell some good shit, it's the best of the best, baby. she said, in her casual tone she used with Cassius. She couldn't really describe it, but they had an odd way of talking to each other. And there always seemed to be some sort of tension between the two.
Kaycee knew what it was, because it wasn't the first time they had hung out. Sexual tension was high between the two, as it always had been. The way they were was slightly possessive, yet free, because neither of them wanted to be tied down. She'd be honest and say that she was highly attracted to the kid, and she was pretty sure he felt the same, so thinking about such a thing didn't really make her freak out, because that surely would have happened the first time she saw herself coming back to him over and over again. He was different around her, she was sure she knew more about him than most others did, and quite honestly, she didn't know what to do with that information besides just to keep it in the back of her mind. Kaycee wasn't good at analyzing things and she wasn't about to start, she was happy thinking just the way she did and she didn't want to ruin anything they had going. If he had weed, she had weed, and if she wanted a little fun, so did he. No, she was quite happy being the way they were.

A lot of people tried their best to get in good with Cassius, to try and figure him out. Though, Cass was pretty certain that most people never would get to know him completely – not even if they spent every second of every day with him. He was a complex character; hell even he didn’t understand himself completely most of the time. He would do something and moments later wonder what had possessed him to do something like that. More times than not he regretted it, but that didn’t change anything. He was moody, he had anger management problems; but that didn’t stop him from ignoring to take his medicine or doing anything else about it for that matter. He always said he was the way he was because someone wanted him to be that way. Of course, a lot of his problems stemmed from his absent father – hell most of them did, who was he trying to kid? Shrugging the thought away tonight was about relaxing and having a good time.
Cass was the type of person that didn’t usually show too much emotion – unless it was anger. So, when he checked Kaycee out when he arrived, he didn’t make a big deal about it. Though, he had to admit, that even dressed down looking rather casual, she looked incredible. There was something about Kaycee’s look that always grabbed Cass’ attention. He could never really explain it, but she was just gorgeous, no matter what she was wearing, she always looked good to him. They had a unique relationship, if you could even really call it that. There were sexual undertones in almost everything that was said and done between the two of them. Cass could never put a label on it. Why would he? They had the perfect thing going here. There were no strings, no must haves. No one asking questions that would bring upon any sort of drama. It was the perfect arrangement in his eyes. He wouldn’t change it for the world.
I’m in a sharing mood tonight, so you’re right… we will be sharing the liquor. He smirked and flopped himself down on the couch. It better be the best of the best or I’m hauling ass out of here… He grabbed the blunt and took the lighter in his grasp, sparking it up and taking a few deep inhalations of the green substance. Grinning, he put the bottle up to his lips and took a nice long swig. Fuck, I’m feeling better already. He chuckled and glanced over at her.

i'm the first to fall and the last to knowWHERE'D YOU GO? NOW I'M HEELS OVER HEAD. Honestly, Kaycee was a pretty simple girl, she wasn't that hard to figure out. She was slightly easy, a drug addict and quite damn close to an alcoholic. Did she care? Hell no. And she didn't really care what other people thought either, she never had. Not after moving out of her house. Kaycee had learned early in her life that life just wasn't fair by any means. She had had crisis' happen in her very first years, not to mention, no one had believed her. Kaycee had learned not to care, and to live her life the way she wanted, giving her parents hell every step of the way. They hadn't cared about her, and neither had her goddamned brother. He sickened her, as he very well should. Any boy who could get away with rape so easily shouldn't be well-liked. Although, that was a secret that Kaycee had learned to keep early on.
Her parents hadn't believed her, so why should anyone else? It was fair, she knew, but that was just the way life had dealt her cards, and there wasn't anything she could do about it now, it was too late and the damage had been done. It was Syrus's fault that Kaycee was who she was today, but then again, she was glad, and if there was anything that she could thank him for today, it would be just that, for teaching her that life wasn't fair and that you didn't always get what you wanted. He had made her a fighter, and she was damn good one, at that. No one walked all over her, and she couldn't be farther from a pushover. Kaycee was a strong girl, and she would continue to believe that she was near about invincible, because that was what got her by.
Her thoughts were interrupted by the boy who had definitely just barged in her house, a smirk clear on her lips, That's a damn good thing then, you better share my liquor. she said, a soft laugh behind her words. The girl couldn't help but smirk at his 'best of the best' comment, which was why her next statement was just as snarky as she could make it. in fact, everything in this house is the best of the best she said, winking at him out of habit as a laugh escaped her lips. Really, sometimes she could be so easy, but she was sure he didn't mind, it was how she always was with Cassius, whether she tried to be or not. Kaycee smirked hearing him, of course he would feel better after a hit and a taste of vodka, the girl instantly pouted as she realized both of them were hers. heyyyy shareee... She was definitely nearly stoned.. the girl was such a kid when it came to being high off her ass, it would definitely be an entertaining night if they continued on like this.
