jen never had such a good life, in fact it was actually a pretty rocky one. her parents split when she was eight years old after her witnessing them fighting horribly for three years. it would get to the point where her mother had actually pulled a knife on her father. that was the day she got to watch her mother be taken away by the police, and put into a mental health facility. her father decided that he didn't want to stay in the area, and packed her and her brother up, and moved them. he said it was going to be "the start of something new". unfortunately for them, that something new meant an even more horrible life. jen was just getting over everything that was gong on, when she watched her brother fall into the wrong crowd of friends. she was growing up faster than she should have been made to. the years passed, and at thirteen years old, she still looked up to her brother. but that meant that she was falling into the wrong things, aswell. by the time she was fourteen, she was hooked on cocaine, and she'd tried acid and ecstasy too. she was loving her life, and everything was just carefree. when she was fifteen she fell into a relationship with a guy that she thought cared about her, but it turned out he was only using her for the connections that she had to the drugs. she walked in on him barebacking her brother, and it sent her whole life spinning more than it ever had.
the one person she ever looked up to and trusted had betrayed her with someone that she had real feelings for. after walking out of the room that day, she went out and bought more coke than she'd ever taken before, and she sat in her lounge, cutting line after line. finally the feeling that she wanted washed over her, and she blacked out. she'd successfully overdosed, and she wouldn't have to deal with life anymore. but because she'd done it in the lounge of her own house, her father had walked in, and was able to call the medics before she could successfully pass away. after 6 weeks in the hospital, and 2 years in a rehab facility, she was finally sent back "clean" and able to be herself again. but her trust issues are horrible, and she doesn't know how to deal with anything. no one knows it, but she actually continues to do some drugs here and there, and she's contemplated using coke again, she just hasn't found a good enough reason to start it.
