personality:
Davie is a real sweetheart, he doesn't think ill of a soul. He really does care that your heart got broke by that guy you just met and your are woefully in "teenagelurrrvveee" with that boy. Despite his nice-ness he is known for a temper when the words "pity" come into play. He never ever wants a person pity. Even though he is the 'crazy' kid. He knows he isn't. Or at least, he says he knows Davie does not have the self-esteem he should. OCD and being the 'crazy' one does effect his sense of self-worth. He cares more about the rightness of his world, that most other emotions go out of play, expect when he's on his meds. Maybe that is another reason he doesn't want to take them. He doesn't want to feel those feelings of self-hate. Davie has never really looked for a romantic anything, mostly because he has other things to deal with( Ie: Stutter, OCD..that sort of thing). He doesn't mind looking, but interaction with a crush is stressful and he's not sure he can deal with that.
Davie's Obsessions
-Superstitious ideas about lucky/unlucky numbers, certain colors
-Concern about evenness or exactness
-Concern with a need to know or remember
Davie's Compulsions
-Counting while performing a task to end on a "good", "right", or "safe" number
-Checking that you did not make a mistake
-Repeating activities in "multiples" (examples: doing a task three times because three is a "good", "right", "safe" number)
-Avoiding situations that might trigger your obsessions
-Putting things in order or arranging things until it "feels right
nationality: American
parents: Don Eric Branch, Eve Edan Peterson
history:
Davie grew up in a normal family. He being the only child. His parents have been married for three and a half years, but they've dated for twenty or so years. Don, Davie's Father, met Eve, his to-be wife, when they both were history majors. They were twenty-two and everyone told then that they would never last. They proved the world wrong. A tall wide man falling for the shortest girl in the degree program. That made Davie the average size of 5'10. When their bundle of joy was born on September 3rd, he was nine pounds and two point three ounces, and he was thirty centimeters, or eleven point eight inches. As a baby, Davie was quiet, he never really got sick, expect when he was two and got a horrid case of chicken pox, he still has a poxes mark in his left wrist from where he tried to rip off the illness. Growing up was rather easy, at least as a young child. He would play like the other little boys, nothing mattered expect play time. Although, he did have that stutter, his parents sent him to speech classes. When he was eleven all that changed. He was starting to show the tell-tale signs of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. They noticed this when he started to stop playing with his friends, and spend his days obsessing over luck and lucky numbers and colors. He started to only wear black and white, his outfits have an exact pattern( even down to the socks). Everything has a certain number and if he doesn't get it right, he starts all over. Slowly his rituals started to take over his life, and for a long time, his parents didn't put the boy on medication and now it seems like he barely takes it. Davie hates the thoughts he has while he's not on meds, but he can't risk forgetting anything or losing anything while he's on them.
