Shit shit shit shit shit. Now he really messed this up. Charlotte was realy done with him and he knew that she had every good reason to be. They knew each other, what was the point anyway? So a one night stand landed them soon to be parents. Fuck. This was all his fault anyway. He just didn't know what to do. He stalked off, back to his truck. He was just going to go home and smoke a shit load, it wasn't like his parents were home anyway. He would rather be high at the moment if it meant that he could just stop thinking about how he fucked up Charlotte's life completely. Biting his bottom lip, he walked away slowly. Just, fuck. Honestly, he was scared to death and screaming on the inside, but he just looked more, unhappy more then anything else on the outside. Hell. it was his baby too, he should be able to see it when he or she was born, but would she let him? Probably not. She had every reason not to though, he was a drug addict, and he slept around a lot.
Feeling her grab his elbow, he turned his head slightly, looking at her. he wasn't about to turn completely around -- because frankly he wasn't sure that it was a good idea. He didn't know what she was going to say, so he just stopped and stood in the middle of the parking lot. At least almost everyone was gone, there was only a few cars left. No doubt people saw him waiting, and saw him being screamed at by Charlotte. But then again, he was use to a lot of girls yelling at him for not wanting to be in a relationship with them just because they slept together once. "Are you really sorry? You said that before, and you snapped again." He said, though it came out a bit harsher then he first intended it to be.
"Yes, because i'm just so calm about being told that i'm going ot be a father, and that you don't even want me to help you." He said, turning his head away from her. He turned around to at least have the front of his body face her, but he refused to look at her right now. "I honestly understand if you don't want me around the baby..." He cut off when she started to speak. She actually would let him around the baby? That made him smile a bit. Of course, when she said her baby his smile went away in an instant. "Excuse me? You're baby? I'm pretty sure its mine to. Look. I'll try my best to get clean alright? I can't promise it will be overnight, but before that baby gets here." he said after a moment, before looking away from her again.
Jasper nodded to her, "I'll clean up. I promise" he said after a moment, smiling a bit. That big, bright, white smile with all of his teeth showing that just made him look truly very happy. That smile made almost anyone smile. "For now, can we just keep it as you don't want to tell everyone who the father is though, i don't want it getting out just yet. I would rather have it get out after the baby is born.. If you don't mind that is though. I just think it will be better for both of us for now. That's all.." He said, rubbing the back of his neck. Looking down for a moment, he had an instant thought. "Gimme your phone." He said, holding out his hand.

Charlotte was well aware that her life was never going to be the same. She had no one to blame but herself. Sure, a part of her wanted to blame Jasper for this. He was the one giving her alcohol and coming on to her. He was the one that she had a crush on, he was the one that got her pregnant. But she knew better. She knew that it wasn’t like he forced her to drink all those drinks and he didn’t force her to have sex with him either. She had been a willing participant wanting to impress him and wanting to please him. Of course, that had been the stupidest thing she could have ever done and she was regretting it since the night it happened. He proved to be everything that the other girls said he was, all the other girls he screwed over. She should have just listened to her instincts. Charlie should have just gotten away in that hallway that day and never gave in to his charming ways.
Charlotte wished that she hadn’t told him and at the same time she felt like a relief was off her shoulders. She could just see all the problems this was going to cause. She shoved have waited longer to get a feel for the situation. Charlie could have just waited, been pregnant and just never told him. She could have avoided all of this. The yelling, the anger… it wasn’t like her. She didn’t know why, but she felt like he brought this out in her… not the mention her hormones that were on the fritz. His words struck her and she swallowed, nodding her head slightly. I… I know… I am sorry for snapping. I’m just… trying to adjust to the crazy hormones going on inside of me. You have no idea what It feels like. She explained, letting him know that this was no cake walk for her, even so early in the pregnancy.
When he turned towards her, but wouldn’t look at her, she felt that pang of guilt amplify. She knew, no matter how much of an asshole or jerk Jasper Moretti was, he was still human. He still had feelings, no matter how deep they were hidden, they were still there. His voice sounded sincere when he was talking about understanding her not wanting him around the baby and then how the smile formed on his face when she said that she would be willing to let him be. As she continued to speak up, she glanced up as he snapped at her. IT had really been a slip of her tongue saying her baby instead of their baby, but in her eyes – at least right now – the baby growing inside of her was more her baby than his. For the next nine months he was going to be able to do whatever he wanted, pretending that there was nothing wrong going on in his life and she was going to have hers completely change within a matter of weeks. It wouldn't be long before people figured out that she was pregnant and she was going to be sucked in to the hellacious world of High School. She pushed it away though, she wasn’t going to dwell on it right now. She had to figure out what the hell she was going to do about Jasper and the baby and… everything.
Her heart beat quickened when he said that he was going to do his best to get clean. A small smile tugged at her lips as he looked down at the ground. I know it’s not gonna happen overnight, Jasper. You have nine months to get it together… and if you really want to be a part of our child’s life then you have to prove that to me. She instructed and shook her head slightly. Charlotte wasn’t going to get her hopes up, she knew Jasper’s type. He was saying what he wanted now, but the second things started to get tough, she could see him slipping back in to his normal ways. Sighing, she brushed her fingers through her hair and looked up to meet his gaze. The smile on his face said a number of things to her and the one that was coming through the most was that he was being pretty genuine. I told you… I’m not telling anyone. I don’t want to tell anyone. Charlie knew that it would be bad for everyone if anyone found out that she was pregnant with Jasper’s baby. She just didn’t want to deal with that. Her hazel eyes moved from her hands to his gaze as he told her to give him her phone. She hesitated for a minute and dug in to her bag and pulled out her cell phone. Looking down at it for a second, she finally handed the piece of technology over to him. She fidgeted with her hands as he took her phone, she wasn’t sure what to do at this point. Charlie figured she would just take Jasper’s lead, at least for now.

Jasper knew that it was going to be a very long nine months. He was going to sit through all the snapping weather it killed him or not. Of course, they would never be actually seen in public.Neither one of them could risk the fact that they were together. Well, there weren't even truly together, they were just having a baby together. for fucks sake, they weren't even friends! They weren't really anything to each other really, They were just, going to be parents together. Well, didn't that just sound so much fun. Oh god. How would they ever tell the baby how they met, oh well, they would just have to make it up as they went. Right? They could never tell the baby that it was a drunk mistake. That would the worst thing to ever tell someone, let alone your own child!
the boy watched her for a moment, just watching her, watching what she said before looking away from her again. How he would live through the fact that she keeps snapping at him he would love to know. He didn't know what the hell he was going to do with her, and if she snapped at a lot of his friends. Well, he couldn't just defend her, then they would figure out that he was actually cared, and maybe they would actually figured out that it was his baby. and well, everything would go downhill from there and he would loose all of his friends and everything. Which was something that he didn't want, "You're right. I don't. I'll just have to believe you. I'm not exactly use to people snapping at me or anything like that. I'll just have to get use to it.'' he said to her softly.
"I told you i would. You have my word. If i don't clean up my act before that baby is born, then fine. Don't let me anywhere near it.'' He said, looking straight at her, in all seriousness. he would start cutting back as soon as he got home. He made that promise to himself, and to her. He would. He really would. He wanted to see that baby, sure, he was all panic in the inside, but he knew that he had to straighten himself sooner or later, and this just seemed to be a very good reason to. It was just before college, and he was going to be okay. He knew it would be, sure he knew it was going to be a long long nine months of no drugs, no alcohol, and no girls. Okay. Maybe he would still keep that up for a while, except slowly stopping that. Yes, that seemed to be the best idea."Good. It will just be better that way." he said to her.

Life as she knew it was going to be completely different. At least she had a couple of months to adjust before she started to show. Though, she didn’t know if it would be completely noticeable on her small figure sooner rather than later. She hoped it would be later, because she really didn’t feel like hearing the ridicule that would come from her classmates. Sighing to herself, she didn’t know what to do now. She wasn’t sure exactly what was to come of her and this baby and Jasper. She wasn’t expecting anything from him, so she wasn’t going to hold he breath about his promise to get clean. Though, he did seem pretty serious and that gave her just a little hope. Maybe her baby would get to know her father and have him in his or her life unlike her. She didn’t want him to say he was going to be there and then not. She just couldn’t dwell on that, at least not right now. She had to worry about how she was going to tell her mom now. She could only imagine how that was going to go with the older woman.
I believe you, Jasper. She whispered softly, her voice barely audible now. She wasn’t sure if she was going to be able to handle the major mood swings she was feeling. One minute she was worried, then mad, then sad, and now she was just indifferent and she wasn’t sure how to handle the onslaught of emotions she was feeling in a matter of mere minutes. Brushing her fingers through her auburn hair, she glanced up and met his blue eyes, Don’t make me regret this. She stated, letting her gaze move down to the ground as she glanced at him, still holding her phone.
Now she just wanted to go home and curl up in her bed and play this off like it never even happened. She would only have to deal with this once she started to show and once people realized that she was indeed pregnant. She could only imagine the crazy stories that would circulate about her. Though, Charlie didn’t really care. Most of the people at her school she wouldn’t see after graduation, so why would it matter? Other than the fact that she still had a year left before she graduated. That she had to carry around some guy’s baby that she barely even knew and had no actual relationship with. It was going to be a challenge, but Charlie was determined to get through this. She was going ot get through it with her head held high and there was nothing that anyone at this school could do about it. Yeah, definitely for the best… She nodded her head in agreement and swallowed as she pointed towards her phone. Can I have that back now? I should get home… I need to… uh, tell my mom about well… yeah… She motioned towards her stomach and then looked back at Jasper. He was the only person she had told so far and she wasn’t even sure how to break the news to her own mother. She could already hear the disappointment and anger in her mother’s voice and she hadn’t even made it home. Taking a deep breath, she gave Jasper a small smile before reaching for her cell phone.
notes: sorry for the delay joey, i was out of town and then had a death in the family. but i'm back now. [:
